In the beginning
I first got into magic as soon as I was able to read. I grew up watching Scooby-Doo so I was curious about the occult. But at the school library all I found were books on puzzles and tricks. Magic was a hobby throughout my childhood. And then in my teenage years I got jobs doing private parties and demonstrating in the local magic shops. I spent several seasons working at an amusement park. (Photo 1994 at Paramount's Carowinds.)
My Second Act
I'm still applying my talents to many live entertainment and amusement businesses, but always kept performing magic a reliable asset in my life. I no longer do larger prop shows, perform outside during the summer or wear a costume. (Been there/done that.) But I still like to offer my niche of performance services.

Each engagement has it's own parameters to calculate an appropriate quote. I use dynamic pricing that takes in consideration of season, day of week, holidays, passive tipping, capacity of audience, length of engagement, repetition and environment (not excluding additional costs for audio or lighting), and subject to mileage and lodging if necessary.
