Deck-O-Morphosis

DECK-O-MORPHOSIS

The performer boasts that they know what card will be picked from their deck of playing cards, then humorously shows they have a deck of 52 identical cards. But then states they can still do a great card trick.

Spectator chooses a card

By riffling through the deck, someone freely stops on one card.  That card mysteriously is shown to have an odd colored back to all the other cards!  But if that wasn't enough, they demonstrate they can change the color of every cards' back.

Eye popping miracles

Just when they can't believe their eyes, the Magician reveals that they've been using a normal deck of cards right along.  Showing a full variety of faces. At this point the deck can be shown, shuffled and reshown as a normal deck.

Reset is part of the Act

The last thing is to change them all back to the original color and all identical.  By simply cutting directly to the specific card, it resets back to showing a deck of 52 identical cards.  (NO additional reset needed.)

My Signature Trick

I've been doing this as a part of my close-up set for decades, ever since I came up with it from my youthful days of demonstrating at the Magic Shop.  Video instructions via weblink included.  (Address on Deck Wrapper.)

What you get

You get one full deck of special Bicycle Cards, in a normal Bicycle box, with a link to a website with video instructions. Decks may either be Red or Blue and "force card" (with an opposing colored back) is a random value. (However if you email me with requests, I can try if it's available).
